The Creative Woman Project
The Creative Woman Project celebrates the strength, creativity, and unique voices of women artists, makers, and creators. It’s a space to capture the heart of your craft—your passion, your process, and the ways it shapes who you are.
Through photos, video, and artwork, this project explores not just what you do, but who you are. How your creativity influences your life, your choices, and the way you navigate the world. It’s about sharing the authentic story behind your craft—the laughter, the tears, the challenges, and the breakthroughs.
The final outcome will be a catalog of stories, portraits, and artwork, potentially presented in a book or magazine format, celebrating women creatives from diverse cultures and experiences.
How to Participate
If you are a woman who creates—whether a painter, musician, dancer, writer, designer, decorator or any other type of creative—you are invited to participate.
Participation involves:
A conversation about your creative process and personal story.
A photoshoot to capture your likeness and craft.
Optional video or voice recordings of our conversation for use in the project.
Creation of an artwork inspired by your story (portrait, sketch, or other visual interpretation).
Fee:
A $10 participation fee is required to cover administrative costs and help support the project.
Schedule & Location:
Sessions primarily take place in Fayetteville, though locations may vary based on your craft. Possible locations include libraries, parks, coffee shops, or participant-suggested spots.
Sessions are generally scheduled Mondays, Tuesdays, some Thursdays, and Saturdays, with flexibility to accommodate your availability.
Consent:
By participating (or booking a session), you grant permission for Fotos by AMP to use your likeness—including photos, video, and voice recordings—for this project, including portfolio, promotional, and publication purposes. Participation or booking constitutes agreement to this release.
For Creative Collaborators / Videographers
I am looking for videographers to help document this project. If you have your own camera, microphones, or equipment and are passionate about storytelling, I’d love to collaborate.
Role may include:
Recording video during photoshoots and conversations.
Capturing supplementary footage or behind-the-scenes moments.
Collaborating creatively to highlight the personality and story of each participant.
Location & Schedule:
Sessions primarily in Fayetteville; flexible scheduling on Mondays, Tuesdays, some Thursdays, and Saturdays.
